The Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation, & Community Banking (PVSI & CB) business group was created recently to leverage and build on our strengths to deliver compelling and game changing experiences for our customers. The launch of this business division brought together six lines of businesses: Consumer Credit Solutions, Deposit Products Group, Innovations, Operations, Treasury Management and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels. The PVSI & Community Banking (PVSI & CB) technology organization is focused on bringing together technology teams across the firm focused on delivering the next generation of payments capabilities, advancing digital offerings, enabling innovation to develop new customer experiences & products and enhancing branch, contact center & ATM technology.
The PVSI & CB groups play a critical role in enabling our business partners through technology solutions. The organizational models for these teams are designed to more effectively manage our portfolio of applications, govern enterprise IT, manage risk, simplify our technology offerings, and execute on our business partners priorities with enhanced time to market. The Business Services teams supporting these groups are a critical component of the EIT CIO (Enterprise Information Technology) operating model and are focused on providing business services to team members, support partners and Line of Business partners in conjunction with the Enterprise CIO Business Services organization.
PVSI is hiring a Senior Systems Architect that will support Customer Architecture needs across all lines of business and customer technology across the enterprise with focus on a major customer information system of record.
In this role, you will function in a strategic role in the development and maintenance of architectures for a line of business in compliance with the Enterprise Architecture.
If hired, you will be responsible for medium-to-high architectural impact projects, recommending exceptions to the Enterprise Architecture for high level projects, reviewing and approving medium architectural impact designs, communicating the Enterprise Architecture strategy and direction to both management and systems related teams within their line of business or infrastructure organizational unit and directing implementation of the architecture for their organizational unit. You will serve as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture, having expertise across a broad portion of the organizational unit's architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture.
To be successful in this role, you will bring leadership to the position. The expectation for this position is to be able to provide business and technical direction to other senior technology team members both inside and outside of EIT. This position will provide technical leadership in the customer space with a focus on customer experience, customer data, and customer system integration with services, business, and technology interfaces. You will partner with business leaders and application leaders regardless of organizational boundaries and will provide technical leadership and direct interaction with Technology, Operations, 1WF, DMI and Product Lines of Business.
