Category Engineering Description Position Overview: The position of Photogrammetry/Orthophoto technician will be responsible for generating mapping products in a 3D environment, creating and reviewing digital imagery products and QC and management of data. Prior experience in Photogrammetric Mapping is preferred but not required; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be considered in lieu of specific experience. Must have a valid driver's license and meet expectations for attendance and punctuality. Job Description: Hourly position, overtime possible. Salary commensurate with experience. Have basic computer competence and understand the Windows Operating system and have ability to learn new software. Position will require the use of photogrammetric software; experience with Cardinal Systems VrOne/VrTwo and/or DAT/EM Summit Evolution Software is preferred. CAD experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation is preferred. Have a desire to work with aerial imagery datasets and be cross trained into other mapping disciplines. Must be able to see in 3D stereo and have normal (corrected or uncorrected) vision in both eyes.
